Volunteer internship services

Importance of services: As per UGC recent guidelines, every student needs to do rural internship and understand the nature of social services. Most of the students doing professional course and even young professionals are not experienced and not exposed to functioning system of NGO and CSR, and different aspects of social work. They find difficult to understand social dynamics when they start new job.

Define the services: We have designed one-month comprehensive service package on volunteer internship. These services are designed with aim to make the students and professionals aware of social work implemented by NGO. These experiences foster a deeper understanding of grassroots realities, local innovations, and challenges, strengthening inclusive and context-driven solutions.

• Classroom session: Help them to understand about legal framework and provision of NGO work in India, work being done by different organizations including STSF.
• Exposure to outreach activities: Arrange some of outreach activities organized by NGOs and government functionaries and help them to understand the communication protocol to be followed with rural communities.
• Desk work: Assign and guide them about HR, finance, Admin and procurement functions. Also guide them to use social media platform for HR recruitment.
• Soft skill development: Help them to learn soft skill especially communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, time management etc.
• Service marketing: Guide them to increase client acquisition of service based business and following marketing strategy.
• Completion certificate: Issue internship completion certificate to individual student and professionals.

Internship fees: The students and professionals are required to pay one-time non-refundable registration fees of Rs. 100 only. No other payment is required.
